"If the printing and dyeing industry can reduce sewage discharge or achieve anhydrous discharge, then both the Shaoxing and the national printing and dyeing industry will further enhance development and achieve the goal of green environmental protection and sustainable development." The textile industry held in my county recently At the opening ceremony of the "Advanced Training Course on New Technologies for Anhydrous, Less Water, Printing and Dyeing", Yang Jichao, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation, directly pointed out the way out and direction for the textile printing and dyeing industry in the future.

Shaoxing County's printing and dyeing industry accounts for about 30% of the country's total. Facing the problem of printing and dyeing sewage, some of our county's approaches to technical research are worth learning from.

Dongsheng Technology: Digital printing realizes waterless printing

Shaoxing Dongsheng Digital Technology Co., Ltd., located in Taoyan Town, has been committed to the research on waterless printing technology since its establishment in 2008, and has applied for 12 patents, including 4 invention patents and 7 utility model patents. Among them, the GBPM (Ⅰ) -180 textile waterless printing machine passed the provincial new product identification.

According to reports, the company's waterless printing machine is directly controlled by the computer and sprays dyes and auxiliaries onto the fabric, eliminating the complicated processes of traditional printing such as platemaking, mixing, and printing, which not only greatly shortens the production cycle, but also High printing accuracy, rich colors, no noise, waste water, exhaust gas etc. during printing. Compared with traditional printing and dyeing equipment, based on the output of 10,000 meters and the annual promotion of 100 units, it is estimated that it can save 130,000 tons of water, save 650,000 kilowatt hours of electricity, and save 25,000 tons of steam.

Benniu Printing and Dyeing: Transfer Cotton Paper Printing No Cleaning

If the innovative technology of "Dongsheng Digital" is only suitable for small batch production, then the Benniu Waterless Printing and Dyeing Technology Company in Shaoxing County, Keqiao Economic Development Zone, has found a new method that is more suitable for the printing and dyeing enterprises in our county.

During this training event, Chen Junliang, the general manager of Benniu Printing and Dyeing, brought the company's R & D team to study. Chen Junliang revealed that the company has made breakthroughs in the research and development of new waterless printing and dyeing technologies and has begun to apply them on a small scale.

It is reported that the company's water-free transfer cotton paper printing technology combines the advantages of flat screen printing, rotary screen printing, transfer printing and digital printing technology, and overcomes the technical problems of thermal sublimation transfer printing of natural fiber fabrics such as cotton with disperse dyes. The cotton, linen, silk and other textiles that have been semi-bleached are selected by dipping, spraying, brushing, etc., and used with the new regulator developed by the company for pretreatment and drying, which is consistent with the traditional transfer printing process. The advantage of this technology is that it is suitable for mass production, and it eliminates a large amount of subsequent cleaning work in the printing process, saves heating energy for drying, and can realize true waterless printing. According to the company's small-scale and pilot-scale experimental data, as long as a printing line equipment is invested for 4 million to 5 million yuan to transform, the daily sewage emission reduction is about 35% -40%.

Printing and Dyeing Industry: Looking forward to new technologies

"The practical application of advanced printing and dyeing finishing technology in enterprises will definitely increase the added value of products." Yang Jichao pointed out that one of the key tasks of the textile industry's scientific and technological progress during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period is to increase the efficiency of printing and dyeing. R & D and promotion of process pre-treatment technology, waterless and low-water printing and dyeing technology, and functional finishing technology, focusing on the development of low-water and waterless printing and dyeing processing high-tech, providing technical support for the industry to achieve clean production and improve sustainable development capabilities. "The new transfer printing technology is an important way to achieve less water and waterless printing and dyeing technology," said Yang Jichao.

The industry analysis shows that compared with traditional printing, the current transfer printing produces less sewage, but the transfer printing has problems such as not bright colors and poor pattern quality, and can only be applied to polyester fabrics. How to apply the transfer printing technology to natural fabrics such as cotton and wool. If relevant companies solve this problem, it will be a real "technical revolution" and play an important role in the development of green printing and dyeing industry.
